If you’ve decided a picnic is the right option for your stop, we suggest:
-
Kentucky Stonehenge – bring a blanket or pull out your traveling chairs
-
The beautiful Hart County Courthouse lawn – a gazebo is usually free and there are loads of park benches in the shade also.
-
The Green River Park and Arboretum – locals refer to it as Stovall Park (named after a Ky. Lt. Governor who grew up here) – but whatever you call it, there are several picnic tables, plus a disc golf course and walking track alongside the river.
