Munfordville, and the communities near, are blessed with some of THE best quilters. And from the passion of these locals came a desire to pass on what they have learned. We welcome you to join us on May 21st as these quilters share some tips, tricks and knowledge with any interested in learning. The Bee is completely FREE and is being held at Munfordville Elementary School, 505 West Union Street, Munfordville, Kentucky.
Activities that day will include learning to quilt and learning to hand piece a quilt top. There will also be several demonstrations throughout the day. While you’re there you can vote for your favorite quilt in the showcase too.
Have a quilt you’d like to enter in the showcase?? Quilt registration is from 8 to 10 am. And when you bring a quilt and get a gift!
The showcase and demonstrations begin at 10:00 am and run through 3:00 pm with prizes given throughout the day. There will also be vendors with fabric and other quilting notions on site.
