The Big Buffalo Crossing Cook Off is back in 2021 & will be October 15 &.16. We can’t wait!!
Truth is, the Cook-Off is kind of a BIG deal. We annually host a Kansas City Barbeque Society Sanctioned event. We are also a Kentucky State Championship cook-off. In 2019 we hosted over thirty teams from around the nation and we’ve had attendees from all over the globe. In 2021, the teams will be competing for $15,000 in prize money. Come hungry! Although the BBQ teams who are competing cannot sell BBQ, there will be amazing food vendors that you won’t want to miss. There will also be several merchandise vendors on the courthouse lawn throughout the weekend. And even though the teams can’t sell you their food, sometimes if they aren’t busy they love to chat and may even share a few secrets here and there. It’s been known to happen!
